Barbender, do you have a faucet for the fresh water? Would like to se a pic if you have one.

I like the fresh water idea........I had the same thought, but don't have the aux tank at all, was just contemplating adding a fresh water tank.

I just ordered a few of the lighted switches........are the indicators lit internally or do they get wired on the back of the switch?

I don't go offshore/outside much.......only if the weather is nice. If it's uncomfortable to fish it's not fun for me......and my son tends to get sea sick.

Yes, the swim platform is the full width of the transom. The removing/replacing of the engine in my driveway wasn't really that bad......this is a pic of how I did it on a previous Grady I had....worked out pretty well. As you can see I have done this more than once........:)

I am using 1 1/2" plumbing PVC.......are the electrical ones more flexible than the plumbing ones? Are you using a single piece from bow to stern?

Thanks Jeff, I have some PVC going from the arch to the transom and a tarp from the aft portion of the Bimini over the arch to the transom. Only the windshield is exposed at the moment......I always have a problem with the cover sogging over the bow......was thinking of leaving it open this...

Will I ruin my eisenglass if I leave it installed and exposed to snow/ice in the winter? It's not new or in perfect condition but it's not in throw away condition either.

I personally like the I/O's........ I recently replaced my Mercruiser w/ a 300HP SBC by myself in my driveway.......can't do that w/ an OB! The maintenance may be a bit more with an I/O.......but at least you can still work on 'em if you're handy. I am turning a 17" prop and do 30MPH @...

I am running a Mercruiser w/ an Alpha I drive. I tried a SS prop and found no improvement....went back to the aluminum.

I am turning a 17" prop and @ 3600RPM I cruise at ~30MPH....very happy with this performance.
