Bennett sells a trim tab retractor for $54 (Amazon). My question: do I need this on my tournament 225? Do owners with 225s and older manual retract trim tabs "want" auto retract? Or is this just a good to have if you trailer regularly? Please let me know. This will be a new boat to come spring...

Thanks yet again Dennis. I am going to replace the sender. Is there a source for a new sender that will exactly fit (5 screws, asymmetrical). I sent a note to WEMA and hopefully hear back. I could always go to my Grady dealer and get one.... C

This picture shows a sender much like mine. The difference is mine has a two wire pigtail (versus connectors). Thanks.

Dennis and Partery, thank you for prompt responses and interest. The end of the story is this: The poly tank is not leaking. The leak was from a poorly sealed fuel level sending unit. Apparently fuel would leak significantly from the poorly gasketed sender especially when grinding along at 12-15...

My sending unit, original on 1997 192 Tournament, has just two wires. There is a red or pink wire, and a black. Could you offer some advice on how to test this send with the two wires? Many thanks, Chris
