    1999 Grady 180 and 2000 Yamaha 100HP Questions

I agree with Greatty...I have a 2000 Sportsman with 150hp OX66...it's a great but heavy boat. I would not go less than 130hp...they are sold with 115s, but I have never seen one with 100hp

    Handling passing boats wakes

I was referring to the on-coming traffic...other wise I just follow the boat ahead of me regardless of how fast or slow they are going

    Handling passing boats wakes

I regularly travel DCC and OCC, on the weekends and it is a NIGHTMARE. In many cases I think it makes sense to throttle down, come off plane, take the wake...and come back on plane. Although doing that 6 times between Barnegat Inlet and Waretown can be very frustrating.

    New Grady Owner

Tucker Had the same problem...added a "blue" 5th wire to handle the brakes...worked fine but eventually became a pain in the neck so I rewired with a 5 prong round connector. GOA

    Trailer Troubles -- Backing Up

Have the same problem with my Loadrite Trailer and 180 Sportsman. I have had it back to three different Loadrite dealers...each was not able to "find a problem" other than my brakes being burned from the lock-up. Loadrite customer support is nonexistent. Last suggestion was to flip my trailer...

    18 sportsman owners

180 battery Barlow---I have a 2000 Sportsman which had one battery. My Grady dealer added a second battery along side the original on the starboard side with a switch mounted in the under-seat compartment. Works great..very glad I added a second battery....GOA
