Unfortunately you have the HPDI's which are not the most popular motors out there. Most of the 282s available on the market have 4 strokes which are far more popular due to cost and reliability. I think that that you are probably around $10k over market but like others have said it just takes...

Thank you all for the replies. Late again it sure looks similar to your issue. I have hired a surveyor for the last 2 Grady’s that I looked at and both failed for high moisture in the transom. This one was close to a friend and so he took some pictures for me. Again thanks all.

I have a thru hull transducer on my 240 offshore with no issues. I get full sonar up to 18 knots in deep water and sonar at 23 knots in shallow water (less than 70 feet). I currently use a Garmin GPS combo if that is any help. I do not get any engine interferance (inboard). Regards
