    The "Sea-J" 1992 Grady White 252G

I am a avid sportfisherman but why do you need to kill so many fish? 44 fish seems like overkill to me. Are the fish brought to a processor for commercial sale or do your clients eat all the fish?

'87 254 Sailfish on Lake Seminole Florida

Thanks for that Desperado. How many hours did you put on that motor? This engine is a 740 Penta. Will do some more research on it.

'87 254 Sailfish on Lake Seminole Florida

There is a 92 25 Sailfish for sale up here with a Volvo inboard that I am taking a serious look at. The engine only has 600 hours which to me seems very reasonable. After seeing pics of yours it looks like it might make sense to move up to the bigger boat.

    Keep the Aux fuel tank????

That is what is on my boat. The single tank with a larger fresh water tank for washdown etc. Works awesome and I still have a lot of range.

    YAM 250 Engine Problems

Yes and I hate to tell you but it is not good. That sounds like head gasket failure which will involve a rebuild. Hopefully your mechanic will have better news for you but I doubt it.

    Taxachusetts strikes again!!!

Be thankful you don't have the tax system of the Socialist Utopia known as Canada. Here we have salt water licenses, freshwater licenses and tidal water licenses (yes 3). This on top of the highest tax rates in the civilized world. Now of course we have socialized medicine which is great unless...

    New Yamaha outboards

When I was young my dad bought a boat from the Windsor Yacht Club. It was a old wooden 40ft Pacemaker that was a nightmare in upkeep (but it was cheap and dad could not pass up a deal). It had new twin 350 chrysler inboards (the previous owner pumped diesel gas into it by accident hence new...

    New Yamaha outboards

Nice to see another fellow Canadian on the site. Where do you do most of your boating Ed? I grew up in Ontario boating as a young boy and teenager, first in the Gananoque area then Georgian Bay. Moved west for the fishing. Good luck on this new boat. Sounds like a sweet ride.

    Wanted: GPS/Sounder Combo

Not sure if your still looking but I have a new in box older Garmin 182 colour combo unit. The boat I bought had one already installed and a second one new just sitting there.

    1984 241 Offshore

How do you find these boats handle the offshore waters? Out here in the Pacific NW we tend to get a lot of big swells with some chop to keep things interesting.

1987 254 SAILFISH "JUMP N JACK" rear view

That is a great shot. What is the beam on that boat? I know the 25's are 9 "6. Yours looks wider than that.

    Offshore 24 Vancouver Island

Fishing out here has been pretty good this last season. 2008 was horrible but 05, 06 and 07 were very good. We are anticipating strong runs again for 2010 which is the primary reason I purchased this boat. I ran a old 1979 Campion that has seen far better days.

    Offshore 24 Vancouver Island

Are you both running mercruisers? Also do either of you run stainless props if so any benefits? Also I should note that the reason there is a American Flag on the boat is that I picked it up south of the border.
