Need some measurements please for a older Seafarer Hardtop

I have reached out to so many people selling Seafarers asking if they want to sell their hardtops and they typically either say no or you can buy the hardtop but it comes with a boat

Need some measurements please for a older Seafarer Hardtop

Yes, it’s a 1988, it’s in good shape and I bought it cheaply. I’ve replaced all the systems and I have about $30,000 into it including the motor. I don’t think I could sell it for that much and if I did I probably would never find a boat that has a hardtop and a new motor. If I sold it for...

I agree with you. I’m trying to avoid having one built, but that may be the only choice.

Need some measurements please for a older Seafarer Hardtop

I agree with most of what you say, but selling the boat and buying one with a brand new 2023 motor is the problem. Say it cost me $5,000 for a new hardtop; to find a boat with a hardtop without a motor would be more than $5,000 and to buy a boat with a motor, it wouldn’t be a new one with 20...

Need some measurements please for a older Seafarer Hardtop

It may be too big for my boat, but I’m wondering if a metal fabricator would be able to make it fit?

Need some measurements please for a older Seafarer Hardtop

I have been searching for a hardtop for 3 years and found one but it’s from a newer 232 Gulfstream. My beam midship is 8.6 and the 232 is 9.3. I realize that it’s not a direct fit, but if it’s close, maybe I can get a local welder make the adjustments. If you can measure your hardtop, please...

    ISO Seafarer Cabin Doors

I'm looking for a set of cabin doors from a Seafarer. I think these were from 1991 to around 1995. I want to replace my old 1988 wooden shutters. Does anyone have a set lying around or know somon who does? Thanks

    Iso seaferor hardtop

I have been searching for a seafarer hardtop for 2 years. I contact every seafarer for sale under 6k and ask if I can buy the hardtop, all no. This spring I’m going to have one made. Probably going to pay 4k.

    Thinking of selling my 228

I agree. Maybe I’ll keep my eye out for a newer boat that needs repowering. It runs great and looks much newer as I’ve redone everything. But no matter how updated it is, you’re right, the hull is still 35 years old.

Can someone with an old seafarer take a measurement for me?

Never mind, it was the port side. Spent all afternoon working on it and I fixed it. I’m happy because this was really bothering me. I looked really bad like I jobbed it up.

Can someone with an old seafarer take a measurement for me?

I rebuilt my bulkhead and I need to fix what I did. One of the two sides is wrong. Either the starboard side is too low or the port side is too high. I think the port side is too high because I don’t think it should have an angle to it. It’s not a big deal to leave it the way it is, but it...
