I agree with most of what you say, but selling the boat and buying one with a brand new 2023 motor is the problem. Say it cost me $5,000 for a new hardtop; to find a boat with a hardtop without a motor would be more than $5,000 and to buy a boat with a motor, it wouldn’t be a new one with 20...

I have been searching for a seafarer hardtop for 2 years. I contact every seafarer for sale under 6k and ask if I can buy the hardtop, all no. This spring I’m going to have one made. Probably going to pay 4k.

I agree. Maybe I’ll keep my eye out for a newer boat that needs repowering. It runs great and looks much newer as I’ve redone everything. But no matter how updated it is, you’re right, the hull is still 35 years old.

Never mind, it was the port side. Spent all afternoon working on it and I fixed it. I’m happy because this was really bothering me. I looked really bad like I jobbed it up.
