What year is the boat and is it the full platform or the small swim platform with built in ladder?

    Transom Moisture-Grady Wet Models

Hi Don, I have a 1988 Seafarer and the transom is solid as a rock, I have the bracketed model also. What is "the drain cap" that you referred to?

How to remove stains on Starboard

I just picked up some GW ladder back chairs and the starboard is very stained. I’ve read where you can use soft scrub with bleach, but I’m concerned about the starboard because it’s the Grady beige not white. Any suggestions? I tried to load some pictures but it always says that the file is...

    WTB HELM SEATS

I know that this is like looking for a hardtop, but I'm searching for two helm seats for my seafarer. I'd prefer the Pompanette ladder back seats, but I'm also looking for the Todd ladder back seats. If anyone has a set that they aren't using, please let me know. Thanks!

    Idea for OLD Seafarers

I have a 1988 Seafarer and this boat was a wreck when I bought it, but I’ve been restoring it over the past few years and I’m almost done. The bulkheads were rotten so I replaced them with 3/4” Marine Plywood and then added 1/4” starboard on top of that. The boat has been completely gone...

    Seat Bushings

You know that black plastic cup that goes in the seat and then attaches to the seat post? Does anyone have a spare? I was working on my boat, took the seats off and for the life of me, I can’t find the bushing. Things disappear all the time. Must be my age.

    Removing old swim ladder

Thanks, there is no way to access the bolts. I believe what is there are lags and I’m going to try to remove them tomorrow. I wasn’t planning on using 5200 or 4200, I am thinking of using Life Seal I’ll let you know what I find out. Coincidentally, the new ladder I just received came with...

    Removing old swim ladder

I would absolutely get SS lags. What is Life Seal? I never heard of it. Is it stronger than 5200? That’s what I was planning on using.

    Removing old swim ladder

There’s no backing plates. What I’m going to do is cut the bottom bolts and replace with lag bolts. Sound about right? The top bolts are easy to reach.

    Removing old swim ladder

I have an 88’ Seafarer and I’m refreshing the entire boat. I bought a new swim ladder and I can get to the two top bolts, but I can’t get to the two bottom bolts. Have any of you replaced your swim ladders and if you did, how’d you get to those two bottom bolts?

1988 Seafarer 2005 Mercury Optimax Project

I can’t believe I’m moving again, but I’m moving again and I can’t take my boat with me. Don’t be afraid to make a low ball offer. It’s a great boat with most of the hard work done. All I could say is no, and you may be surprised!

1988 Seafarer 2005 Mercury Optimax Project

I’ve gone through the entire boat and it just needs to be finished. The list of things that need to be completed is short. The biggest thing is a new bulkhead to the cabin as is common among these boats (I have the original and the cabin door). The transom is solid and the fuel tanks were...
