    What did you use for access to the aux tank area for storage, I was thinking about turning that area on my 248 into a dive equipment storage area and was looking for a large water tight hatch door to install on the deck panel in between the seats, lots of room for maybe 2-4 tanks and BC’s etc

    Rear scuppers on a 248

    So if I get this right, the nut pulls the deck flange down to seal ——- the deck flange doesn’t screw into the elbow, I saw some indents in the deck flange that maybe a 1 inch or so flat blade would fit into to screw them out

    I looked on my 248 Voyager and my battery compartment walls go to deck height so no way to get the starboard side on mine, my port side I was able to fit down into the dry storage/ice box after just lifting out the bin

    Rear scuppers on a 248

    Has anyone ever removed the deck scuppers, 1 1/2 inch hose , I know that Grady used some type of swivel 90% elbows that the scuppers attach to , not sure if they will screw out from top to free up the elbow for hose replacement, just picked up this boat and replacing the rotten drain lines

    Has anyone ever ran a 248 with a single Yamaha 225, just bought boat and it will be here in 2 months, wondering if I should start looking now while waiting for boat to be shipped here or look for a pair of Suzuki 175’s max hp rated at 350,
