Yes when it first starts Only starboard motor after 10 minutes or so just a trickle. Just had new power head last year due to corrosion.

Put boat in water today started motors and noticed water pouring out on starboard motor. Is this s serious thing or can it be a faulty poppet .

Just put boat in water and notice one motors prop was free spinning very slow. Motor was in neutral?? Yamaha 225

Power Head. Had exhausts done 5 years ago. Marina does all maintenance every year. Flush engines for 1/2 hour after each use. Motors have about 1100 hours on them first major issue. Other motor is fine

Have twin 225's Yamaha's (2005) . When I start starboard engine water is coming out of exhaust. Port motor nothing. Can it be poppet valve or something with power head? ( Hope not) No hoeses are loose.

I use Hobby Lobby Marine Toms River. I keep my boat moored there and for the winter.They have serviced my Yamaha's for 14 years. They stand behind their work. I don't know if the will pick up boat though. Give them a call ask for Bob.

I have a canvas cover on my boat going 15 years. If properly framed before covering you will have no problems. Costly but better then shrink wrapping every year and throw away money in spring when you rip it off

Was out fishing today came back to dock and tilted motors to flush . Let them flush for about 1 hour as I was cleaning fish. When I came back to boat water was pouring out cowling cover. Does anyone know why this happened. Boat ran great on the way back.

Can anyone tell me where I can possible get a new cover button. The one on there now is getting ugly

Mechanic advised poppit valve may need to be replaced. Will check when I pull boat in December. He said okay to use boat
