    Need a new Boat Cover

Well my cover lasted five years but it's definately time for a new one. My old one came from Boaters World, was made of lightweight polyester, and cost about $320.00. It served it's purpose well for the first couple of years and then as it degraded it allowed moisture and dirt through the...

    Repairing the Blue Stripe

It should peel off rather easily. Any remaining residue can be removed with goo-gone, acetone or even a little WD-40 on a rag. Your local dealer may have some of the stripe and will let you have a piece (worked for me). Otherwise, GW customer service can fix you up.

    Replacing trailer brakes

I hope everything works well for you. When I retro-fitted them to my Venture trailer it had some cheap rubber brake lines already on it and the brakes wouldn't work right. I think the trailer place said something about lack of pressure or something like that so I had to run SS lines with a...

    Replacing trailer brakes

I don't know where you are located but I bought everything needed to replace my drum brakes with disc brakes at Portsmouth Trailer Sales ( Chesapeake, VA). I only had brakes on one axle to start with and I went with Kodiac's and the whole set up cost me under $600.00. I did the labor myself on a...

    Adventurer vs Seafairer

I bought the 208 simply because I couldn't afford the 228. I hope to move up in the next coupple of years. I tow with a 2005 F-150 w/tow package and I'm sure it's more than adequate for the 228 as well (rated at just under 10k)
