Dont you just have two parallel bunks? You will probably have to push them together to keep the v of teh boat from touching the cross members. If you find that the bunks have to be too close together and dont provide enough support, then you may have to fine a way to raise the bunks higher so...

Because so many people have bought in to the 4 stroke thing and hate spending money on something they burn, there is a lot of false economy people out there selling their low hour used 2 strokes for nothing to buy the expensive newer technology motors that they will never recoupe their money on...

While 4 strokes will never quite have the "umph" two strokes do, one of the problems that is common is that the motors get mounted too low on a repower. Make sure you are propped properly and the motors are mounted to the right height... See here: http://www.thehulltruth.com/forums/thre...

I would want my rpms to be around 5500 with that motor. If the engine is running properly, Make sure you motor is mounted to the correct height. See this thread here and the photos by Ken2 of Prop gods. Then look at props once you have the motor mounted at the correct height...

Depends upon the parker hull. The mod v does ok with the f250. I think the boat will hit 40mph at WOT. The f225, which according to the EPA test site, dynos in at 208hp and probably is on the weak side. For the deep v's I would think 300hp would be a min. The deep v is probably more comparable...
