    my bad, 2009 250 Yamaha BXTR, BTW, could not find this part in the shop manual or Boats.net diagrams. Could this be where a pressure sensor for an analog speedometer might be mounted on older Yamahas?

    Had water leaking into the upper cowling and discovered this line had broken loose from a part that appears to be nothing more than a dead end (water does not flow through). Notice the bolt on the side, could this be a residual part from a different model year which is no longer used and Yamaha...

    Forgot all about Andy at SIM, used him a lot when I had a smaller boat. Just ordered the Candopro Yamaha Diagnostic tool from him, hoping that may shed some light on the issue and probably a good thing to have in my toolbox.
