As long as it isn’t salt water!! Then it’s just a matter of checking each bit of equipment one at a time and eliminating what isn’t leaking.

I had that and it was the fresh water shower hose leaking slowly when pressurized. Making its way into the bilge I think.

I hanged to a CL5 (smaller cut out so beware). Had to select the sensor type ABYC. I removed the snake a d slide the float up and down the shaft and watched the corresponding level indicator on the CL5. Worked perfectly. Good luck!

How difficult is it to remove the switches and circuit breakers on the black panel for the 2021 306 Canyon? I am replacing the back panel and will be reinstalling the existing switches and compass.

It’s the pipe work holding up the tee top.

Yes it is powder coated. Like an off white colour. Few chips here and there and some corrosion where the stainless screws go through the mounts.

Does anyone know where I can get some touch up paint and the paint specification for the anodized pipes in the cockpit?

Retrieving the chain works fine. In the initial stages of releasing the chain under its own weight the chain is getting snagged inside the chain locker. Basically, the locker has a molded recess to the aft below the access hatch and it seems like the chain is falling back on itself and jams. It...

The boat only had 12ft of chain which is totally inadequate so I added some. There is only about 150 ft rope so not much. The well slants aft which it is gathering into when under way and hence is trapping the chain.

My anchor chain is getting stuck in the well which stops it from deploying when dropping the anchor. Has anyone else had this issue on the 306 and if so what was the fix? I am thinking off putting foam into the bottom of the well to raise it. ‍♂️

Thanks. All sorted. The incorrect sensor was selected when Yamaha replaced the CL5. Once I selected the USA the gauge was correct. I pulled the sensor out and did the single point calibration and now the indicator is showing the correct amount.

Thanks for that. I will burn off some fuel and remove the sender then dip the tank and roughly calculate the percentage in the tank and compare it to the percentage shown on the gauge. Will check the ohms from empty to full by moving the float then move on from that. The senders are not...
