    Grady White Decal replacement?

actually it isn't the stripe I'm missing. The bottom half of the "T" and part of the "I" got rubbed off and it just looks kinda crappy. I orded off the web site and decals showed up 2 days later. Probably I'll just cut those two letters out and replace just those two.

    Dogs on Boats

Always take them somewhere that they love. We take ours to an island where he can run and chase birds, and he never hesitates to get right in the boat. Also helps to have a mat or cushon that he can get a grip on with his claws.

    Grady White Decal replacement?

Thanks Strikezone! I'm familiar with Crocker's, in fact that is where my current boat was originally bought. I also bought a Boston Whaler from Crocker as well several years back. I guess I shouldn't be surprised they offer this service.

    Prop question

I had the oil tank removed, cleaned etc. and the engine has been tuned etc. I'm satisfied with the way the engine runs as I've pulled waterskiers and could yank even the heaviest guy right out on one ski. When I did the test there wasn't much wind and I did go both directions for the speed...

Need some advice from you Evinrude Gurus

I think I have the same problem, but it is with a 15 yr old 150 Evinrude. Believe it or not I got it used with 153 hours, but it hadn't been used but once a year for several years, and I had all sorts of problems that were all solved by a good tune up. Carb clean/rebuild, new fuel, new spark...

    Grady White Decal replacement?

During a tropical storm last September by brand new (15 year old) Grady rubbed on its fenders all night and ended up rubbing off part of the "Grady White" decal on the starboard side. Can replacement letters or the entire decal be purchased? My old Grady looked like new when I bought her and I...

To Grady or not to Grady

I just bought a 14 yr old Grady. Best deal I ever made. Do not be afraid of buying a quality used boat. IMHO much less risk than a much more expensive new boat.

$67,785 for a 20 foot boat! Do I laugh now?

My rule is never buy a new boat, especially if you can rent one. I have a used Whaler which I stole used, and just picked up a used Grady White. Tip -- buy in the late Summer or Fall when the owner will have to pay for one more year of storage... Also, some of the worst boats I have ever...

    hurricaine Hanna

New Jersey? You guys have no idea. I have two boats and a second home in the path down here. Should be OK though, Hannah might be a weak Cat 1 by the time it passes by here and hopefully to the East and back out to sea. Good luck to all, and hope no damage is done. God help us all. Woody

    Prop question

Hello, I've just purchased a 1994 Tournament 192 with Evinrude 150. I got a very good deal IMHO - I hadn't planned on buying a "new" boat but this was too good to pass up. Anyway, I took her out for a trial and the engine ran great (only 153 hours!). I was somewhat concerned though...
