I like this option, I just ordered. I figured for $6 it’s worth a shot and if I don’t like then I can go the gel coat route.

Nearing the finish on my first project. Replaced the dash box with black starboard so I could flush mount my 12” axiom and fusion radio. Next I have to repair the screw holes from the hinges, which is something I’ve never done on a boat.

So I went with Raymarine Axiom and my old transducer has a different plug, so looks like I’m upgrading transducer as well. The current transducer is transom mounted. Is there any benefit going thru hull or should I just stick with transom mount? Most of my fishing will be in the bay with some...
