Thanks all for the responses. Called the dealer yesterday and since they happened to be in the area stopped by to check out the boat. They believe the issue is a loose post on the battery selector. Connections tight, but when moving the wire the post moved. They will replace later this week.

yes PIA. I will keep looking. . . . but the boat is barely a year old and the connections (that I have checked) are clean and tight. What are the chances that it is a bad battery selector switch or power button?
