    I got a Garmin GPS 4xx for about $450 - it came with the Sat. Antenna. I pay approx. $50/mth for the service, for six months of the year; there's a standby or "hibernate" for some small charge to get me through the winter without paying $50 each snowy month and without paying to "reactivate."...
