    Tuna fishing novice... suggested books/videos

IN the latest issue of TIME magazine there is an article on Tuna over fishing etc.. I found it very interesting and of course troubling. I hope that sustainable practices take hold so sport fishing can contine

    My new boat

The cabin is very user friendly, we mostly use it to use the head, and the stand up head is great. There is a birth for the kids, stand up shower and lots of storage. Really great set up for us because we do not overnight on the boat...but like the space to get in out of the weather if needed...

First Trip on my First Grady this weekend

One of the favorite parts of the whole boat buying experience was the "owners edition" hats sent by Grady. My wife jokes at how each hat cost a fortune...but I still think it is cool.

    Winterize???

sure, rub it in. I put mine up mid October as the weather here in NH sucked this fall. Rain wind and no fish.

Still glad you "Got the Grady?"

My first Grady lasted 72 days and that is all it took to fall in deep amore with our Gulfstream 232. But none the less on a rainy day in Late summer I made the fateful mistake of going down to see the 336 Canyon. I could not resist and by the next week it was in our slip and in our hearts. Many...

UPDATE: I have been in contact with the folks at Baert Marine and thety in turn have brought Grady on board. Keep an eye on the Baert Marine website over the next few weeks. There will be a link to click on to get the club started. I believe they will be doing a mailing out to all of their...

    Tuna fishing novice... suggested books/videos

I will be spending the off season trying to learn how to Tuna fish. Any suggested books/videos to start. I am not new to fishing...just never bigger game. My Grady is a fishing machine...it is time I put her to the test.

    Winter Storage Tips

This is my first winter with our new Grady and would love some tips on winter storage. The boat dealer will be taking care of the heavy stuff (motors, water systems, shrink wrap etc... It is advisable to remove as many of the seat cushions as possible? Remove even the hard to remove ones? What...

New boater question about the Voyager and Gulfstream

I have had the pleaSure of having both the 232 Gulfstream with a single F350 EARLY this year and now a twin F350 set up on my 336. I LOVED the 232 with the single F350, very fast, powerful etc... BUT Now that I have the twin engines on the new boat I am not sure how I ever got the...

    336 power steering

I never touch the power steering "switch" but I always shut down the big red button for the bow thruster. I think I was told this actually locks the bow thruster and keeps it from spinning while you are under way! I am not sure if this is correct or even important, just what I was told. I...

This is why you always need BEER on the Boat

That is really a funny story. Too bad they had to kill the ancient creature (even as nasty as it was)

Negotiating Price or Amenities with Marina

I am happy where we have our current slip. I get along well with all the neighbors and the marina staff is nice. My only issue is one of "grass is always greener". We have another marina which is a 10 minute further drive by car, but is right at the ocean rather than 15 minutes up river like we...

Negotiating Price or Amenities with Marina

In this day and age where boating has become less popular up here in the Northeast (due to fuel prices, economic down turn etc...) most of the marinas are needing to work harder to have their slips full each spring. Has anyone tried negotiating with their marina? I am thinking of negotiating...

Northern New England Grady White Club

NNEGradyWhiteclub@me.com this can be the temporary e-mail contact address. If interested in joining the thus far non-existing club please send your information to the above e-mail address. I think boat name (size year etc) would be enough information for now along with an e-mail...

Northern New England Grady White Club

I will attempt to set up a new e-mail address for the possible Northern NE GW club tonight. Then maybe we can get a substantial list of interested parties which I can present to Baert Marine and GW in order to get some help getting the ball rolling. Stay tuned.

Is a Bow Thruster the answer to my problem?

I had a single prop Gulfstream that was a bit of a chore to dock in current and wind (our slip lies on one of the strongest tides in N. America) and now with my new Canyon 336 with twins AND bow thruster...docking is a breeze. Yes I know the bow thruster is "cheating" but with me making the...

    Canyon 336 2009

Thanks for getting it off. Keeps me on her good side. Not sure why it came out so big. I am sorry for the trouble.
