    help with docking my 208

All great advice given so far! Where I'm currently docked I'm the second boat from the end of the main channel so when I come in I basically turn right and then make a full u- turn around one boat and into the slip. (We dock bow in). The 208 is great out on the water, in close slow...

    Need a new GPS/Sonar-FF

I've got the Garmin 741xs with chirp transducer that I'm very happy with. Accurate charting and really good strong depth / fishfinder readings.

    208 storage and seats

Those fish boxes aren't totally waterproof so while I use the one behind the helm for cleaning agents and such I wouldn't put anything in there that needs to stay dry unless you use a waterproof container. They DO have a lot of room for stuff though!

That's a GREAT story LT! The perfect day makes all of the boat headaches disappear pretty quickly! Beauty of a Striper too!

looking for a good boat serveyer in N.J

I'd call whoever the local Grady Dealer is in your area and ask them for a recommendation. You'll be using them for parts and such down the road, you might as well get to know them now. :-)

Roller disappeared, damage done, and an uncaring marina

Knowing how much work you put into the boat this past winter I've gotta say that really sucks! Sorry to hear it. Sounds pretty fishy especially after you checked after launching. I guess you're gonna have to get a couple of extras to keep in the truck. Hope the gel coat repair goes well.

What's everybody doing on their Grady this weekend?

Hey Bill, this is my second 208 and I've had a lot of fun on both of them but I'm not going to be near any big water when we move. I like fishing lakes too, so I'll adjust. Life changes, weren't really expecting this when I replaced my 96 Grady but it is what it is.

What's everybody doing on their Grady this weekend?

Sounds like fun Mike! As long as somethings tugging the other end of the line I'm happy! I'm up in Westchester and fish the Western Sound. We worked both sides but did better on the LI side. My Buddy's both went home with fish so they were pretty happy. Honestly, I thought it was a miracle we...

What's everybody doing on their Grady this weekend?

I went out yesterday in spite of myself knowing how holiday weekends are. I'm usually a mid weeker when things are nice and peaceful. A couple of buddies wanted to go Fluking so we went out for a few hours. I swear it gets worse every year. First big weekend, and every clown who never took a...

Ain't that a kick in the pants!

Hey Lt Mike - Man I'm jealous! I'd love to have a nice indoor spot to keep and work on the 208! With this nice weather I'm sooo tempted to launch, but so far there's not too much life at the Marina and I hate being the first one in. They officially open 4/1, - we may not have much to fish for...

Ain't that a kick in the pants!

Haha! My Ex has a pic of me shoveling out my old 208 (back in the 90's) at the dock after a late March snowstorm. back Then we still had flounders to fish for! It happens, as nice as the weather has been I was tempted to launch early again this year too!

    ENGINE FLUSHING

I've been flushing every time I get back to the dock. The last boat went fine for 20 years so I guess it helps.
