    Interior Cushion Cleaning

I'm going to try to give it another week or two if the weather continues to hold. Black fishing is just starting here and I hate to quit on that

    Interior Cushion Cleaning

Thanks. It's probably a good idea and would make wiping everything down in the Cabin easier. I guess I can bag them and leave them up in the attic until spring. The notices went up yesterday at my Marina - ALL BOATS MUST BE OUT BY 10/31. I guess it's really THAT time of year again...

    fuel guage

It's probably the sensor, you'll find it under the circular access hatch in the middle of the cockpit floor. If you have the GPH meter as well on the dash, the total used on that is usually pretty exact.

    Automatic Bilge Question

Maybe check the rubber o rings on the access hatches ( in the motor well and cockpit floor). With a heavier load you might be getting some motor wash flooding that well and leaking into the bilge back there through the o rings. Anything coming through the scuppers should wash out the same way...

    get up on plane

I've got the same F200 4 stroke on my '15 208. It doesn't have the same punch out of the hole as the old 150 2 stroke that was on my '96, but it's better on the top end and way better on fuel. I smoothly accelerate, continually advancing the throttle until I'm on plane. Usually 3 or 4 seconds...

    Taking a 209 offshore

I've taken my 208 out to the mud hole which is about 20 off of sandy hook. Just make sure you have the right weather and sea conditions and you'll be ok. I wouldn't do it every day as these are smallish boats for going offshore but I go out every now and then. Honestly for me running hells gate...

    Sea Tales

I'd think the best choice would be selling it or trading it in on a 25". If that's not possible I'd look into the extension kit.

New to me Grady 208 Adventure!!!! Couple ?'s

Welcome and congrats on the 208! My '96 Adventure had a Yamaha 150 2 Stroke and was trouble free for the 19 years I had that boat. When I picked up my 2015 208 last summer I got the F200 four stroke and it's been a really great engine for the Adventure with much better fuel efficiency than my...

Need Advice on 2012 Grady White 208 Adventure

My '96 208 came with the Yamaha 150 HP 2 Stroke and it was ok for power unless I was really loaded. That was pretty much the standard engine at that time. I usually fish alone or with one other guy but the days I'd load up with 3 or 4 guys it had to push to get out of the water and I'd help it...

    1997 208 Adventure

It sounds to me like the info you've received from Grady White and the Dealer you spoke to should be steering you away from this one.
