    ENGINE FLUSHING

I was one of the "flush as often as you can but no big deal if you can't" people for a long time. In fact, engines didn't really even have flushing capability until the late 90s so all those years it wasn't a concern. Why should it be now? Well last year, I saw the head apart on a Yamaha...

    2015 models?

Sorry Mega.i'm outta town and don't have my notes or access to pics. There are alot of pics on the website that show the new cushions if you look close enough. The new bolsters and exterior cushions have more padding and are styled unlike any others used in the marine industry. I'm not sure how...

    2015 models?

Just back from the factory. No new models this year as they instead chose to freshen up ALL models with new hull accents, new cushions, new lighter "classic grady white" gelcoat, new options and a major redo of the 330 Express. The most intensive effort G/W has ever done and the first time they...

    WOOD-LESS MARLIN

On a plant tour in Dec 2012, we were told about the changes and they showed us the materials, including the new transom board. The new construction took 10 years of testing to assure it would be as strong as the wood coring. The 271 Canyon was the first completely wood free model and then the...

    WOOD-LESS MARLIN

The Marlin is wood free as of the 2013 model year. Such was true for all boats 27 feet and up. For the 2014 model year, all boats 25 feet and up are wood free. Hope this helps.

Gulf Stream 232 hull changes in 2006

The changes as I understand: 1. New transom with folding aft seat and jumbo fishbox replacing the former molded aft seat 2. Flush mount electronics panel option 3. Larger cabin entryway door 4. Redesigned cabin entry steps (2 instead of 1) 5. New head location to stbd 6. Single burner butane...

New 375 Freedom is on the webpage!

www.gradywhite.com/375 Pretty crazy stuff. A "Hinckley" bow rider?

    FREEDOM 335

OK, here's how I see it. If a company like G/W wants to gain new customers and new market share, producing another Express, W/A or CC doesn't make sense. The best way to get new customers is to steal them from someone else. G/W is already synonymous with the family fishing boat. This boat will...

    Profits on new Gradys

Megabytes markup information is incorrect. The markup is not as high as he states. Not trying to start an arguement but it's important that information should be correct before taken as factual.

new looking 33 @ AC boat show

Ninodog, I went to the Javit's show and they didn't have the 330 or the CC version there. You were looking at the 360 and the 366. Those are priced in the 400s.

    new to forum, a question

Actually, you CAN have too much trailer. It's important that the suspension is "flexed" and not too stiff. Some trailer capacities are higher just from tires or number of rollers so no problem there but if the torsion axles or leaf springs are oversized, it could give the boat a very rough ride.

    Grady White position on ethanol

Geez Sel1005, Chill out! Tell you what, I DEMAND you use your telephone or computer to check with G/W yourself before getting hot under the collar and making Grady seem like they don't care. The info was right there on there website: Can I use 10% Ethanol Fuel in my Grady-White boat...

    What's a fair price?

Don't mean to be rude, I just hate inaccurate info. The Chesapeake was introduced in Sept. 2009. Not 2 years ago.

EXPERTS! JUST BOUGHT GRADY AND NEED HELP WITH YAMAHA F200TXR

Have seen many times. Tighten the positive and the ground connections on the motor itself. When you remove the cowling, these two connections are on the right hand side of the motor and are easy to spot. They are color coded and quite large.

    MAKING THE DEAL

This shouldn't be such a big deal. Make sure the deposit is fully refundable and give the 10%. I hear your side but the broker is not out of line asking for a deposit prior to the seatrial. He is bound by the seller to do right by him and not give free, willy nilly rides to every person who...

    Crack in Transom

It's my belief that the "brittle" arguement is one of the most legitimate arguements against foam/composite transoms. It's also one of the reasons that many composite transom builders use Armstrong engine brackets. The aluminum bracket spreads the impact force over the entire transom. I have...

    What's This? A New 30ft Walk-Thru?

Bob P needs to find another site. This is really a discussion site for those who love Gradys. State your case and then leave. No use in harping on it because it's obvious Grady is listening to other people. Bob, you've got a 1992 boat and you even repowered with 2 strokes. I hardly consider your...

    Tournament 307

Jeez, they make 25 different f'in models. So what if some are more family oriented. They have 5 bow riders out of 25 models. You want to fish, pick one of the other 20 for cripes sake. If Bob P was running the show, G/W would be out of business because he'd still be building 1992 designs and...
