    Grady Fuel Tanks

Bob, I used Florida Marine Tanks when I replaced the tank in my '86 Tournament. They were the OEM for mine, still had the specs although I also got 'em from Grady. Don't know about shipping, I actually picked up mine at the plant, which is (strangely) in Henderson, NC. Be prepared for the...

    Trying to calibrate new tach

and the analyzer said 680 rpm at idle which is fine while the boat tach was at 1400 rpm :hmm And you don't find anything strange about an almost 100% difference? Just coincidental?

New to my Grady... I've had it 4 days now.

I had a closed transom, but this is what I did for a livewell. The one that was OEM really sucked, and I just plugged that sucker and used it for storage ..

1989 tournament gas tank, floor questions

should it come right out, Probably not, may have to trim about 1/8" from the lip. Don't try to remove it with 30 gal of fuel unless you have a hoist and a small boy. Covers were typically layered with pieces of ply and prone to rot at/near the access covers. The usual fix for that is to grind...

    Standard VHF Radio parts HELP???

S/H customer service has always been good to me. :uhm I'm thinking you haven't had a problem with a unit that's not current production. Seems if one doesn't have a Class D unit, little support (if any) can be expected from Yaesu. It is what it is ...

    gas tank 1991 225g

The main tank should be 93 gal, the aux 50-some odd. I found the best gauge is a calibrated fuel flow gauge, one that keeps it simple and gives you fuel flow and fuel used. No bars, no lights, just numbers ...

how often do you run WOT

Mine is propped to put WOT within the max recommended range, bumping the upper limit when very light. I might do it other times if my cruise numbers are askew, but rarely. It's a personal thing, and I've never been one to think outboards need to be run hard. They don't, and I won't without good...

    Garmin 188c

Mapsource will only display map regions for which you have an 'unlock', they are no longer available for purchase. If you can locate an unlock, you might be able to download charts to a card, then display those charts in the unit, but I always had a BlueChart pre-programmed so I never fooled...

    Bilge Pump size?

If you're replacing a pump, go with the largest capacity that will fit. If you don't have the plumbing (or want to change it), go with the largest capacity that will fit the plumbing. Use smooth-walled tubing with as few sharp turns as possible. If you don't think what will fit is large enough...
