    unless you are going to do some serious offshore fishing the amount of deviation the units will give your compass is negligable. just remember if you are on the east coat go west if you are on the west coat go east!

    I do in fact i took them off yesterday. My dad has a special tool that pops them right off. I couldnt begin to describe it though. Ill try to remember to take a picture of it tomarrow.

    dont let those guys on THT scare you they just hate GWs. They make a big deal out of it because of GWs are supposed to be one of the best built boats out there and cost more than most other boats do.

    Furuno 1623. Thats what I would get thats what i was gonna get but i got the Garmin bundle deal instead. 95% of the commercial boats out there have furunos on them because they are the best.
