    1/32 of an inch per foot. So an 8 ft long piece can expand and contract up to a 1/4 inch over I believe a 40° temperature range. There is plenty of lumber that does that as well. Also living in Ft. Lauderdale you probably won't have to worry much about that. Hope this info helps

    I can either make the panel for you or supply you with the starboard and you can make it. I prefer to use 1/2 for mounting electronics on. It is always better if you can use nuts and bolts if you have the access to do so. If not screws will work

    Yes they are. You might not always feel something unless the breaker is popped. I have run across them sometimes like that. The water pump one might have been replaced and sit a little higher to where you can feel it and the others are all original. That might beer why that one is different.
