Just looked at the ones from west and they have changed "I don't like them" but if you google TH marine lid and hatch support springs you can find what you need. I like the ones with ss hardware not the molded plastic. voyager

Sorry but I can't remember, it has been a couple of years. But if I remember correctly they come in different lengths, but easy to install. Only problem I have with the spring is it will fall on your head if tripped. I have learned to be careful as all my boxes now have springs.

I bought a SS spring from West Marine for my ice box. It didn't have either on it. Works good!

Those numbers look good to me. I think my Voyager is underpowered with my single 225 Johnson. Although I get on plane easy I am only getting about 1 mile per gal. and will welcome 2. A seventy mile trip and 70 gal. turnes into 35 gal. I can stand that. I believe that 225 was the largest HP...

family I haven't discussed that with the dealer but he is located on the water and I will run the boat. I think he is a straight dealer and would be suprised if he didn't set it up right.

Thanks Nick. Yes I've been watching some of the post on THT and it seems like people who own them love them people who don't own them hate them. I thought I would get more response from grady owners but I guess not many grady owners run E-tec.
