I Just returned for Los Suenos Resort near Jaco Costa Rica. We fished Capt Dana Thomas’ “Who’s Your Daddy” two days for sails. We fished a third day on his other boat, “Who’s UP” for inshore stuff. The seas were calm with enough current to make some very nice rips, with great dry season weather...

This was hooked on a dead cigar minnow. We also dropped live bait which worked for a red grouper and a scamp grouper. We were fishing the 27 fathom ridge out of Port Canaveral. It is about 35 miles out.

Re: nice fish BUSTED :oops: ....I have a friend with a Wellcraft. We trade off fishing days rather than splitting cost. Next weeks pics(I hope ther are pics of fish) will be from my GW.

Ahhhh....The summer slow period is ending and the bottom dwellers are feeding where I can get to them once again. Just landed my personal best red snapper yesterday.

I use the chip. It was easy. It covers a wide area. The new garmin now has all the data pre-loaded; no need to buy the chip or CD. If you are buying new, that may be the way to go.

It's not really a question of power. Grady does not care how much HP you hang on the transom. It's all about the weight of the engine. When they built your boat they based their max HP on the weight of the engine (2 strokes at that time). If you re-power with a 4 stroke you will be putting even...
