Bait tank pump constantly vapor locking when coming off of a plane if traveling over 25 knots. I have a 33 Express.

On the 330 the intake scoop for the bait well is never out of the water under normal sea conditions. In fact, if you leave the seacock open at higher speeds, the bait well will fill with water due to the pressure resulting from the scoop with the pump off.

    330 Express Helm Pump Replacement

Not standard, at least in 2007. I do not have it but with twin 300s have no problem steering.

Bait tank pump constantly vapor locking when coming off of a plane if traveling over 25 knots. I have a 33 Express.

2007 330 don’t have that problem. Might want to check and see how the scoop looks on the bottom. I seem to remember mine has a slots facing forward and is closed on the aft end.

    Port Battery Gremlins (draining)

Some installers also connect the VHF FM radio directly to a battery, bypassing the battery switches, to ensure availability in emergency situations. Just like your bilge pumps.

    Cockpit Scupper Access

Thanks! My diesel tank gets in the way if working from the bilge.

    Cockpit Scupper Access

Did you have any problem, reaching the drain fittings themselves on the deck inside the cockpit? It would seem to be a bit of a reach from there, but surely easy access to the through hulls.. Also, where did you purchase The cockpit drains themselves and if you have a part number? Great...

    330 battery charger wiring

My 2007 330 as it came from the factory had only two banks of batteries, two batteries per bank. The original charger was wired as two outputs to two banks and was an only a two bank charger. If you actually have three banks of batteries, you would require three battery switches whereas...

    Generator for A/C

Check your electrical panel gauge, if you have one, when the AC compressor first kicks on. Note the amperage or watts. A 2000 watt generator at 120 volts only provides about 17 amps. I think my 330 AC needs a little more than that. 2000 watts may be marginally capable. If you find the name...

Best or worst 36 Volt batteries for a Garmin Kraken 90 inch trolling motor

I have been using the Weize lithium ion batteries on my other boat for several years now and they work great. They also may be one of the less expensive options.

    Electric Steering Upgrade and Autopilot

Those endcap seals are easy to change, just buy the tool and the replacement caps. Your challenge is often getting the attachment off the end of the ram due to corrosion. If that is not too hard, this is a quick and easy job. From your photo of the ram itself doesn’t look bad slight marrring is...

S3213 fuel/water separator filter- Racor vs China noname from Amazon

As an aside, the clear filter bowl, water separators are not USCG approved for boats that have any kind of machinery, such as a generator below decks. Unless the filter is outside the bilge compartment.

Low oil pressure blinking on gauge after change.

My point was, maybe he is looking at a low oil, quantity warning for the two-stroke oil tank as opposed to oil pressure which obviously two strokes do not have.

Low oil pressure blinking on gauge after change.

Need more info. Two strokes or four strokes? Your model/year of the 150s? If two strokes, are you sure it’s not oil tank and not low oil pressure. What type gauges do you have and do they indicate oil pressure? If not, oil pressure light is simply a switch, but both engines makes it really...

    2012 Freedom 275 electrical issue's UPDATED

They may all be unrelated, but If the switches are adjacent in your switch panel, it could be a ground issue to those switches. The switch panel should be easy to troubleshoot on the backside. All three of those items get their power from your switch panel. If other items on your switch panel...

    House Battery vs. Starboard battery

Your nomenclature is a bit confusing. Batteries are not port and starboard. They are number one and number two. Switches are port and starboard. I think understanding that issue or configuration may help you with your troubleshooting.

    House Battery vs. Starboard battery

Back to the original post, when you’re looking at your Garmin engine page (assuming it is configured correctly when installed) you’re looking at each engine alternator output to the associated battery switch, not a specific battery. Regardless of the battery that you have selected your starboard...

    House Battery vs. Starboard battery

Battery number one is only the house battery if you have the starboard battery switch set to number one. If you have the starboard battery switch set to battery number two then battery number two is the house battery. The starboard battery switch powers, the house regardless of which battery is...

    House Battery vs. Starboard battery

Normal Grady configuration has the starboard battery switch connected to the house and the starboard engine. The port battery switch is connected only to the port engine and possibly generator. Of course that configuration could be changed, but not likely. I always think of a switch as powering...
