    225 Tournament bracket

Bracket from the factory, what year, who manufactured it? Call them up and ask the thread size, and count.

    225 Tournament bracket

I use a cordless drill and these bore cleaning brushes in different sizes to clean up threaded holes. A squirt of rust buster, in and out a few times, ending with a long period of reverse to back out the dirt. Got lucky, and picked up a bunch at a Walmart clearance for about $.20 apiece.

    225 Tournament bracket

What matters is how far in is the bolt threading, not how much is left sticking out. If 2.5 is tight with .5 sticking out, 2" are in the hole, which is the motor bracket and the transom bracket. 2" minus the thickness of the motor bracket is how much thread is engaged. Now add a lock washer to...

2013 Grady 209 Fisherman T Top mesh bag

Assuming that it is aluminum track, which does not go around corners, you have four individual pieces. Look in the corners between the pieces of track, and see if you can find a gap in the piping, or welting, between two of the tracks. Spray all the way around with soapy water, and see if you...

    225 Tournament weight change?

Maybe they are shipping them with the forward bilges pre-filled with water.

What was last year for Tournament, first for Freedom?

Did the Freedom line ever use the same 19T and 22T hulls? 215 is the smallest Freedom in the line.

    225 Tournament bracket

Are the top 2 threaded, and also have a lock nut, or are only the bottom 2 threaded? Are the bottom 2 holes open, to extend the bolt, and add a nut, or is it not drilled through, and you need an exact length? In either case, can't you just stick a pencil or something through, and measure? A $3...

2013 Grady 209 Fisherman T Top mesh bag

Does 'fourside' mean fore side, or four sides? Unlikely that you would have to drill the rivets out of the awning track. How many sides of the bag have track?Photos would help.

    My next project!!

I would go red, to preserve my night vision. Isn’t the illumination power wired to the first switch, and then jumped down the line? You could wire that power through an extra ACC switch, or a dimmer, and turn it off if it bothered you while driving. If you go blue, your night vision will not...

Pulling the trigger on a pilot house on the 228

Very happy for you! Getting what you want, and having it exceed expectations has to be really gratifying.

Pulling the trigger on a pilot house on the 228

You have certainly added your personal touches, and ended up with a great result, but am I wrong in thinking that you are not the first with the basic package? Weren't there 2 or 3 ahead of you? I ask because I am wondering if someone owns the CAD design files, and could they be purchased. I...

    205 OEM Switch Panel

I don’t want to pile onto the current thread, but since several people seem to be working on replacing switch panels, I noticed that Rusty Ron had new panels for 2016 and 2017 GW 205 for $485...

    Wiper mechanism

When I worked in service stations, many decades ago, there was a flat spring wire which pressed against the splined shaft. You had to reach under there with small screwdriver, or a pick , and either lift or depress that spring to slide the arm off.

Cabin cushion covers in the washer

If you do go that route, take them to a laundromat with a LARGE tumbler machine. I just did that to my 2 piece boat cover this week, and there was no stress on the fabric. Do not use a machine with a center agitator.

Average discounts in today’s market? 235 Freedom

Just a quick read shows that labor got charged twice on job #5. And on job #6, 24 feet of red battery cable was $74.40, and 24 feet of black was $4,783.92. I would be giving that invoice a close inspection.

Pulling the trigger on a pilot house on the 228

To wipe the entire window with a vertical blade, you need two arms for each blade, and a pivoting blade. Look at #6 in the link. Your windows are narrow enough that you could get away with one per window. https://www.a1-windscreens.co.uk/news/windscreen-wiper-movements/...

That was a nice day's work! On the sliders, does the front half slide back, or the back half forward?
