I had the same issue with our 2007 Marlin. I finally gave up and called Pompanette. They were awesome!. Arm rests had been totally redesigned and quite frankly should have always been that way.

Correct. Having full access to the stern bilge area for general inspection, maintenance ( fuel separators for example) is so much easier. boats as we all know require us to be some sort of contortionist circus performer to get at things. Having the luxury of being able to flip open the deck...

I did the exact same project on my Gulfstream.....original bayonet bulb fixture out and new Attwood led fixture in. It was a very easy project. It would have been even easier if Grady had left just a little bit more "extra" wiring. In all, however, a pretty easy do it yourself project.

Cannot remember the exact measurements, but I recall that the dimensions of the Ebay listing were off...mostly in length. My original was longer. In short, I took exact measurements from my boat and had the vendor make them to my exact specs.

I ordered from the same vendor and actually got him to modify width and length to my exact specs. Arrived quickly and a darn near perfect match. Well worth the effort and cost.

Yes, it's a 20" Black Oak led bar...combination spot/flood. Works great for navigating fields of lobster buoys at night.
