TMANN are you reaching close to 6000 rpm's WOT with that prop? My 208 would get into the high 5000 with the P 17 at WOT. per Yamaha's recomendation.

Yamaha Reliance 17P maybe 15P with a hard top.

I have a 15P 4 blade Powertech prop on my 208 Grady but no hardtop, so with your aluminium top I don't think my application applies.

I have watched a few boats owners with e-winches in the past and always thought if they brought the boat in any slower your fishing time would be seriously compromised on planning your return.. Have they improved the speed on bringing your yacht onto the trailer?

Have the 208 (same bow) I got my pulpit from Auntie Grady (expensive) but came with the all the hardware to install and a section of bow rail as shown in your last pic. I pull anchor by hand using a Fortress anchor (very light) but works great for my shallow anchoring.

I believe it is all doable yourself. Had not issues installing my Furuno autopilot and mfd's and helped a friend install the radar. Furuno has good install instructions with the Furuno Forum standing by to answer questions. $8000 labour quote? Yikes !!!

Fishermanbb, I guess it depends on the water clarity as to timing changing on the water pump. I have Yam a F200 with approx 800 hours that Has had the water pump changed once in that time. Says a lot for the pristine waters of our coast up here in the northwest.
