    Drifting Speed Concern

Im a fan of the drift sock in my 208 - yes it is a little bit of work, and sometimes you still need 8 oz, but it does make a little difference, and if it means catching opposed to not catching, Im all in

    Yeti-Set-Go!

The "special" part is its roto-mold construction. Many other cooler brands use the same method, and are less expensive Then of course there is the quality hinge, the sturdy feet that can accept wheels, the divider slots molded inside, the upper basket, and the slots on the sides where...

    Yeti-Set-Go!

The wife bought me a Yeti 105 about 4 yrs ago. Its too big for my 20ft boat so it sits on the patio in the back since day 1 and we use it for parties. Its a beast.

    Boat Trailer Ladder

Looks great. If I would add one thing it is protection of those corner angles. They look like they could do some serious damage God forbid you slip. Maybe radius the corners?

    Replacing DuraTrim with Starboard

Does anyone have a newer Grady that uses Starboard for the cockpit trim? Trying to find out what thickness GW is using. I replaced my Duratrim with Starboard a couple of years ago and I went with 1/4 inch. Bad choice. Now its all warping and looking wavy, and it does not sitting flat. Is the...

    Bait Table / Fillet Table

Well, finally the prototype setup is no more. I found a local guy that was able to weld up some aluminium pipe with a 4x4 flange on top and that set me up for success. I shimmed the pole holder on the motor well vertical wall with a Starboard shim so they sit plumb.(they were canted before and...

1993 208 Adventurer Window Trim Replacement?

Have the exact same boat. I put silicone in the channel, pushed it all back in and secured it with duct tape for a couple of days to dry. Then I wiped the rubber down with a silicone spray after it was all dry. Been good for a couple of years now.

Any ideas on how to refinish teak cabin doors

Agree with the tung oil assessment. It really needs to go on in thin layers over time and even then it will wear quickly. You may want to wipe than down with a thinner, let it dry good and proceed with either teak oil or another product made specifically for teak. You dont want all that hard...

Any ideas on how to refinish teak cabin doors

1000 Grit ? God bless you. - I just saw the teak pictures on my PC instead of my phone. WOW!!! You got that teak looking nice. BTW - In case the painters stick is a little flimsy (and they do have a cup in them) just rip down some some 1/4 stock to desired width and sand away. You will be...

Any ideas on how to refinish teak cabin doors

Get a paint stick, 3M spray adhesive and some sandpaper. Make yourself a big version of a nail file you see the ladies using to file their nails and use that as a tool to sand the slats
