The link I provided was to Grady White customer service. Since they built the boat I would think that's your best chance at getting schematics. This is a forum of people that own and enjoy Grady White boats. Did you click on the link I provided you with? Fill it out and at the bottom it asks...

    Performance #s for a 300 Suzuki on a 248 Voyager or 258

I have 20 hrs on my new Suzuki 200's. Can't say enough good about them. Make sure you can get service locally. They seem to have as much power and responsiveness as my old 2 strokes. There's nothing like new stuff, maybe I'll post an update at 100 hrs or so. Good luck!

which engine set up is better

I prefer outboards on a bracket because I like the unobstructed deck. It's personal preference I suppose. I remember tinkering with my inboard outboard engines often. The outboards generally work or they don't. That's just my experience, I'm sure others will vary. Sounds like you need to sea...

    Minimum Power 23 Gulfstream

Sounds like your set on underpowering a boat in an area with rough seas. In my opinion if you cant afford fuel your looking at the wrong size boats. If the motors you're suggesting worked, lots of us would use them and save a ton of gas money. I would think a seafarer with a 90 or 115 will have...

    Inspecting fuel tanks

I would strongly question the integrity and judgment of anyone that advised you to top off 2 year old fuel and run it through your fuel injected engine. Wow! If that worked I suppose there would be no ethanol problems. Was this person a professional? Looks like you need to figure out if those...

    wiring 12v charger/cig lighter

If your trying to install a 12v receptacle to charge portable electronics. It's only 2 wires and the only guess I have is, are your battery switches turned on and is the main circuit breaker tripped? If your trying to wire something else, please explain. Thanks

    Transom question

That's the best place for water to get into the transom and rot it. If my boat had that setup I wouldn't feel good until I had completely inspected and refurbished that area. The factory seal is not exactly a lifetime job. This is a small job that can save a transom replacement later, Good luck...

    1992 Gulfstream * 232 G Gulf Stream *

Wow! you have thought this out. Most of your questions are talked about extensively in the archives. If your patient you should be able to access everything on a 92. All original thru hulls were plastic and need replaced. The decks are removable to access the tanks. Those removable panels will...

Help with possible 248 Voyager purchase

I owned a new 2001 f115, although I didn't keep it long it was by far my favorite outboard. Super quiet and it sipped fuel. I'm not sure when those engines will be due for a service that will include a timing belt change. But that price sure sounds like a bargain if that boat is what you want...

    1992 25 sailfish

My boat is a 92 also. your speed at 4500 rpm is faster than Grady's test data for your boat new with carbureted 200's. Was that taken with gps? If your boat has not had updates your due for a few. All thru hulls and hoses need to be replaced. The bulkhead at the cabin entrance is usually rotted...

Need Advice - Yamaha 2-Stroke Issue

Had the same symptoms on a friend of mines Yamaha. Do an engine de-carb and use the shock treatment dose of ring free. Most auto parts stores have a carbon remover type product in a can that can be sprayed into the carbs when running. Then I spray it into the spark plug holes and let it soak. We...

I would think that once you list the year and model you will find a buyer here. Not sure what it's worth, or how far someone would travel to get it. Good luck!

    help on used boat purchase

That's a 1989 the owner admits to hardly ever using, it's entitled to have a few gremlins. So long as its priced right, it either has compression or it doesn't. Little things are going to come up once you start using a boat that's been sitting that much. Assuming it runs well the motor is only...

Lower unit on a evinrude 200 hp

Most people have good things to say about these. They include the water pump, if they have what you need the deal can't be beat. Good luck! http://www.sterndrive.cc/mm5/merchant.m ... Code=SE306

    Low speed overheat

I would remove the water pump and re-install. sounds like you could be missing an o-ring or something. i'm thinking maybe #11 or #13 http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamah ... parts.html or #77 or #78 in this drawing http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Yamah ... parts.html Just a guess but it...

Worst luck ever? Boat nearly sunk

While you are fixing your other problems you should install one of these. Mounted a few inches higher than your bilge pump, it will alert you to water in your bilge before it's up to your batteries. Good luck! http://www.westmarine.com/1/1/2438-high ... alarm.html
