No, the voids are in the composite, not the wood. It's that they didn't put enough of whatever type composite they use between the bottom of the non-skid and the top of the wood core. Unless we have composite eating termites... :rolleyes:

Atlantic's tower mounts to the deck at the 4 corners of the console and to the console on each side. I emailed Grady, they don't do T-Tops at the factory on 180's but sent me some pics of a similar after market setup, screwed and glued.

Absolutely but Atlantic says they do all the GW180s screw and glue. Might be easier for them. I think a Beckson about here might give access to front and back stanchions but not sure what's underneath, pretty close to the live well lines.

Yep, I got all that, I was wondering if anyone had tried installing 6" Beckson plates to get under the deck for backing plates or if they were all glued and screwed like Atlantic states.

I find it's easier to throw a weight/bait rig with an older fiberglass rod, more forgiving.

I tried a template for mounting the Garmin and I would have to remove the port bow cleat and some railing to mount the motor base.

Anyone done it? Considering it and looks like I'll have to cut out some portside bow rail. Anyone?

I bought a Shurhold system also but I got the blue "Soft" brush head, too soft for blood n' guts. I was thinking about the red combo brush with the stiff center. Which do you use?
