Last night I picked up a Lewmar Profish to put on our 87 Gulfstream. With the 8 plait rode and 15' of 1/4 chain. Standard HD switch with the 50 amp breaker. Not sure how/where to mount it, and looking for suggestions. Searches didn't bring too much back. Anyone have pictures of one installed...

I just replaced my hoses in October. I cut a 6"round plate in at the fills. There should be an inspection plate on the inside of the cabin to look at the fill hose and rigging. That area is pretty busy down there. Curmudgeon is right. It would be very unusual to have that fill hose kinked. But...

Same for me, Manual login each time since the site upgrade. I log on from four different PC's in four different locations. Three have my login info saved.

X3 You wash the boat, squirt the hell out of the brakes. The washing sytems may not give you enough pressure or volume.

Can't comment on the height, but I would suggest a six rod launcher with four straight up center ones, and each end one angled at 60 degrees. That was the setup on my last boat (custom hardtop & built in launcher). The outer ones were part of my 7 rod striper spread when at anchor. Many fish...

On my 2 boats, that plug was loosely secured to the bulkhead with a short piece of brass chain. I guess so it wouldn't go far. If by 'hatch' you mean the compartment where the tank sits; yes it has to be as watertight as can be. Not just for water,but fumes, too. Usually, the water in there...

The PVC pipe that drains the tank area should be plugged where it empties into the rear bilge. A regular rubber screw type plug is all that GW used there.
