Use ceramic pads and drilled, slotted rotors. Both, not either or. That combination is the shnizzle. Great stops. No fade. Longest pad & rotor life. The smarter Police Depts use them.

After a couple of years, I finally figured out how to post pictures. Bought in Jan 2005. 1983 245 Tournament. 1999 Merc 225 carbed. 2005 Hardtop. Before I took Ownership: And After: There's a lot of undercover work you can't see that we did during the refit/upgrade.

My 83 Tournament had the zamac that we're talking about here. Just replaced them last year through GW in Somers Point, NJ. Price wasn't bad and easy to get. And the new ones are Zamac, but I didn't have to drill new holes, either. :wink:
