You could try a cheap foam canon. Foam it up let it sit. When most of the foam is gone repeat a couple of more times. That may soften it enough to wipe off.

Pretty sure you will need to cut the existing rail. Does the pulpit bow rail have extensions on the ends to slot into the existing bow rail?

My 2006 F250 won’t pump water with muffs. I cut the top off poly 44gal drum and put a drain at bottom. Works great.

The 1700 is beige, the 1000 is clear. 5200 for gluing pulpit down. Not sure that where I would use clear and not beige.
