flush dash panel for 2004 282 Sailfish. Anyone done this?

This is my 268 Islander helm flush mount. Material is Starboard in Seafoam. White may also work depending on how faded your gelcoat is. Attached from behind to hide the screws. Install unit from the front with screws.

    Yamaha F200 - Ideal Prop

My 4-blades from Ken @ PropGods were a game changer. Yamaha F150's 4-stroke on 268 Islander. Gave me a mid-range I didn't have with no loss of top end.

    Interior Update

I did cushions, back rests and curtains a few years ago. Second project I did with my new sewing machine. All materials and sewing machine from Sailrite. "Denim" fabric for cushions. Plenty of helpful videos for all types of marine fabric work.

    Not sure about that.

    Livewell and Washdown Pump

Two different types of pump. One for pressure the other for flow. If you only have one thru hull pickup what I would recommend is you install a Rule baitwell pump on the thru hull and connect the washdown pump to the port on the side of the baitwell pump. The Rule pump is available in...

    Livewell and Washdown Pump

Buy a new voltmeter! There is no way that is a 24VDC pump. Take the pump to West Marine or another marine store. Match it up and find an identical pump. This way all the mounting holes, water fittings and wiring match up. I do this every time I replace a pump. Saves me the science project of...

    330 battery charger wiring

What charger do you have installed now? If it’s not a smart charger I would upgrade. Your description of draining quickly is not charging it’s probably batteries.

S3213 fuel/water separator filter- Racor vs China noname from Amazon

I have the original Yamaha filter bases installed. I used the Sierra 18-7928-1 filters/bowl combo initially. Replacement filters are 18-7919. Never a problem.

    ICW next winter

I have done this before but not with a Grady. 29 Luhrs and 42 Egg Harbor. Three winters. Have been trailering my 268 Islander down every Winter since 2008. Taking the ICW is a long process. When we did it it was a combination of running inside when we had to and outside when we could. You also...

    Freshwater system issue

As Dennis said - open all the faucets hot and cold and let the water pump run. If you have cold water flow on a faucet shut it off and leave hot water open. When another faucet pumps water do this again. This will bleed the air out of the system. I'm not sure what you are looking for with a...

    Freshwater system issue

I can't read the model numbers off the water heater. The 6-gallon Kuuma I see online looks the same. On this diagram the upper right is the hot water pressure blowoff line. The lever arm should be down - otherwise the tank will fill and overflow to the drain. Top left is hot water out to your...

    Freshwater system issue

While you are in there clean the strainer on the water pump. The hose that is hanging may be the cold water into the water heater. May have been removed and left hanging to drain it for winter. This is my best guess as to what the problem is. I always look for something the "technician" last...

    Freshwater system issue

The water heater is a flow thru container. Don't power it on for now. It has nothing to do with your problem other than the freshwater pump may be trying to fill it. Nothing will come out of your hot water lines (other than air) until the hot water tank fills. The water heater is a branch off...

    Freshwater system issue

Help us help you! Did GW give you a plumbing diagram? If so can you post it? Want to know if they show water line branches off the pump and what fixtures are on each branch. My pump is midship and branches forward to rally sink, hot water heater (removed and bypassed) then to the head sink...
