What size font for vessel name 33 Express Cruiser

"Start Me Up" uses 5 3/4" high font. My preference is subtle . Purchased custom name decals thru Boat US - very happy with the quality.

    Inspected Gas Tank Compartment

Interesting post - great job on the clean-up. I have a 2003 in SoCal and keep wondering when my tanks/fuel hoses may be a problem. Like you, inspections by my mechanic say all is weel. Another question, does anyone know where to buy/find the black push-in nuts that cinch down the...

HELP WITH Grady 257 2021 Fisherman Fresh Water Leak Found When Servicing

The freshwater pump should cycle off and on to repressurize the freshwater line after leaking. I have dealt with this problem many times over the years - either a loose connection or bad washer at nozzle (try a different nozzle and see if it helps); or a loose clamp anywhere in the line -...

Where do you store your cushions?

If you decide to store the cushions in the head, I would suggest putting some DAMP-RID in the head to fight off mold.

Marine Air Condition, cabin mate 2000

I'd recommend a marine AC specialist look at it. These units are pretty stout and easily diagnosed by an AC specialist. If not serviced for a while, could just be filters or need a re-charge. The water pump is over 18 years old, if never changed, and could also be the issue.

    Need Insurance Recommendation

I used to have insurance thru Boat US, but when they partnered with Geico things went downhill. I had the same experience with nonsensical rate increases. I dumped them and went with AAA of SoCal and I'm very happy. Unfortunately, not an option for you back East. Look around, I'm sure it...

    NE Boat Show

After reading those prices, I went to my slip and petted my 2003 Express 330, promising to treat her well and keep her going forever.

    Air Conditioning / Heating

Follow-up. Turns out it was a low voltage problem coming from the generator. I plugged in shore power and all was fine with AC/heat. Now I have to trouble shoot the generator :(.

    Air Conditioning / Heating

I have a 2003 330 Express. The air conditioner/heater unit has stopped working. The control panel shuts down seconds after startup. I rarely use the system, but I have regularly exercised it during visits to the boat. I have not ever had the unit serviced and all components have never been...

What's on your list for winter projects?

Replaced main engines last year, so that major project/expense is done. Also, replaced most Eisenglass with Lexan. Just replaced the original washdown and freshwater pumps - they we're working, but 20 years is long enough! Now the AC/Heating acting up (20 years trouble free) so that's next...

    Replacement of bolster cushions

Kirk - I have a 2003 and all the guidance given is spot on. Looks like your boat is a little newer, based on the water supply under the gunnel, but removal should be the same.
