I am refitting my 1992 GW Seafarer 22 with a new motor. The sales guy tried to sell me a Suzuki 225 saying that my current 1992 Yamaha 200 has more horse power than a new Suzuki 200. He did say I would have no problem getting up on plain with a 200, but I'm curious about this horse power thing...

I have a 1992 GW Seafarer 22 in need of a new windshield wiper switch. Can anyone help me identify this switch. It has 6 pins and can identify the wires, I'm having difficulty finding a replacement. Thanks in advance, John

Other than my GW, I have a 21 foot bay boat that doesn't have trim tabs. I am constantly asking my wife to sit on a particular side to event the boat out. I figured if I ran into the same thing, I could use Trim Tabs on my GW. That is why the question was asked.

Most GW boats over 22 foot generally have them. I’m asking if I should get them.

My 1992 GW seafarer 22 never had trim tabs installed. Do you think I should install new ones or go without?

I’m going to be looking at a 1993 GW Seafarer 228 and was hoping I could get feedback on what to look for. I’m not to concerned about the engine because I have plans to refit it, though the owner says it run solid. It too is 1993 Yamaha 200 two stroke. I don’t know how many hours are on it.

Thank you to everyone that commented. Unfortunately the seller lied about the year of the boat and a couple of other things. The photos in his add were not representative of the actual condition of the boat. They must have been taken years prior.

I am looking to buy a 1994 GW 25 foot Sailfish with two 2004 Honda 225 4 strokes and would like your opinion on the motors. They have 600 + hours and seem to run fine.

I am purchasing a 1992 Sailfish 25 foot that is stored in a marina. If I bought a trailer for it would I be able to pull it with a Ram 1500 that has a 5.7 liter Hemi engine?
