Contact WEMA. Tell them which boat you have and the depth of the fuel tank. They'll match the connector and give you the correct size. I replace both of mine and they are better than OEM.

Done that a kagillion times. Rubber shrinks up and pops out again. Not sure it does anything, think it's just cosmetic that's why I don't think there's a problem using an aggressive caulk/sealant.

I always wondered how these things would do in a storm. Doesn't seem like there's' much to it. Would be nice to get longer than a month out of a wax job. Something to be said for undercover storage.
