Weird....sounds like the dealership screwed it up on install, then tried to play it off like they intended to do that. By dealership, do you mean GW or the Suzuki shop? I assume with Zukes that means you have repowered your boat recently.

On my new, 2023 Grady the trim does not work with the batteries turned off. Nothing works except the auto bilge.

Or jetskis? I assume they could make a jetski prop based on the same principles.

I just ended up getting a nice Yeti cooler that fits perfectly right there. Just the right height to use as a step. Put a SeaDek pad on top for non-slip.

I wish mine came with that.

Funny thing is even though that threads is quite long, I don't think a single person on it has a Sharrow or even knows anyone with one. So who has been buying these things? I mean, the biggest boat forum on the planet and nobody has ever seen one of these props for real???

There are threads here and on The Hull Tuth on Sharrow props. Seems that nobody has one. Not sure how they stay in business. At $5K each they will never catch on, even if the performance claims are accurate.

Get the upgrade passenger seat with the power sliding feature. Way better than the standard flat seat with movable backrest. The auto rear sunshade is also highly recommended.

The sliding seat has teflon tabs on the bottom that it slides on. Seadek works just fine. They just cut two grooves for the tabs to slide through. Here's the diagram of my Seadek.

I only mentioned the CAI because it's another "revolutionary" bolt-on product that makes lots of unsubstantiated claims of performance improvements with questionable real-world evidence. The part where nobody on the boat forums has actually seen one in person should give everyone pause...

Yeah, really seems that their main market would be professional racing or heavy-duty charters....people who really need to maximize performance on a daily basis. Those of us who just like to cruise the sand bars or do a little personal fishing on the weekends really don't need 10% better...

They wanted about $4500 to do it, but I negotiated them throwing it in free as part of the sale.

MarineMax painted mine with the matching Grady white color. I don't think Yamaha offers them stock with that color.
