How and where is the cockpit depth measured on Grady? The advertised cockpit depth on the 235 Freedom is 25". On the 255, 275, 285, 307 and 325 it's 27". Where is that measured? Seems odd that there is only 2" difference between the 235 and 325. I know the 285, 307 and 325 have a wider...

I am very glad I went with the Grady cream. That Yamaha white just looks out of place.

Just curious, is there a plug in adaptor that can be installed? I have a power outlet on my dock and was wondering about just plugging the thing in when not in use, especially in the winter when it sits there for long periods.

Whatever boat color you choose, get the Grady cream color engine. Really adds a smooth custom look to the whole boat. The pearl white would really stick out against the cream.

Not much to add other than I killed my battery #1 a couple months ago by accidentally leaving it "on" for several days. Switched over to #2 and ran the boat for a couple of days and it eventually charged #1 back up to normal. I guess my only contribution is that the batteries should be...

Got a new Yeti Tundra Haul and had the local SeaDek company make a GW pad for the top. Came out pretty nice. Contact Castaway Customs if you are in the Gulf Coast area. They also did a custom helm pad for the boat.

I think I'll give that a try. My little plastic adaptor that snaps in to the flush port under the gunwale seems to get a little more difficult to pop in every time I use it.

Anyone know how much anchor chain Grady's come with in their 23-27' boat lengths? I thought I read somewhere that the 235 comes with 50' of chain. The rule of thumb is generally 1 ft of chain for every ft of boat length. I was talking to someone with an older 235 recently who is having...
