What to use AGM or wet cell batteries on a Yamaha 225 ox66

I realize you were asking Hookup1, but I would like to provide a response. My boat is a 2018 with three AGMs(Group 31s, I believe). They are going to be replaced this spring with another set of AGMs. Therefore, my fingers are saying that's seven years/summers. I am inconsistenet with leaving...

When is it time to change fuel tanks?

Well, if the boat is coming up on 20 YO and you're questioning it, then I think you should do them now...assuming it's in the budget.

    Boat Pricing

ok; thank you for replying... From my perspective, the "issue" is how well one is equipped versus the other. Higher HP motors, better electronics, full enclosure, trailer, etc., etc. My advice would be to go in with your best offer less a few grand and then be ready, willing and able to sign...

    Security :

"when you are on the fuel dock/gas station then open the vertical hatch behind the fold down seat and control for fuel smell when adding fuel and after finishing it." I respectfully disagree with this. Gasoline vapors are heavier than air and will "sink" to to the lowest level. IMO, it is best...

    306 Canyon bow storage

IIRC, there is a panel that is screwed down and it has a 6" pie plate in it.

    306 Canyon bow storage

It could be done out of marine plywood and then painted with epoxy.

    306 Canyon bow storage

I wonder if it's possible to remove the panel entirely and fabricate a new panek with the desired hatch size. This way, when you want to sell the boat, you can return it to the factory configuration.

yup I know it's apples and oranges, but FWIW, a marina friend has a Pursuit 325 OS with twin F300s and he is very happy with the performance.

Canyon 336 with twin 300 performance

Hi gents, Take a look at the performance in the link for reference. My 306 with "C" Series F350s (19P props, I believe) runs almost spot on with the info below. Knock 1 - 2 MPH off their performance for bottom paint, etc. and my performance is very close. My numbers are very close to the Yamaha...

Can anyone help me find Grady White decals

On my boat (2018), they are: dark greyish with a chrome border. If you want, I can pull out some color charts and try to provide a 3M, AVERY or RITRAMA color.
