    Salt Away?

Some of those lakes have a great deal of limestone (hardness) which can deposit in the motor and eventually interfere with cooling. You may want to look into scale removers and perhaps use it in your flush a couple times per season

    90’s Marlin looking into?

Some of these older Marlins have very low hours on the hulls. I bought a 98 with 2 strokes, newer trailer, bow thruster, for 45 last season. Repowered with used 225 HP 4 strokes, for a very reasonable price. I did the work myself so saved a few thousand there. It is a LOT of boat for the money...

    Salt Away?

Water treatment for "harness" is a very big business. That isn't salt, I bet if you taste it you'll agree. You may want to flush with CRM or some chemicals used for boiler feed water. Even a mild vinegar solution may be effective. The worrisome part is that eventually hardness build up will...

    30 Marlin AC power

so that's the answer I suspected 2000 not enough. incidentally I consider myself fortunate NOT to have a generator installed. I hear nothing but bad things about them- not to mention the space the take up must make repairs more difficult

    30 Marlin AC power

Does anybody run their AC on a 20 Marlin with a portable (like Honda) generator ? I was told 2000 watts isn't enough ? It would be a nice option out on the swim platform in some cases when I don't have shore power.

Suzuki 250s on an older marlin?

I put a set of used F225's on my 98 Marlin, and sold the OX66's. It was a pretty reasonably priced repower and I absolutely love the set up. I was able to do it all myself, with the help of a friend with a fork truck. They bolt right up onto the same holes, but you need to update the steering...

    Repowering 2004 Marlin

There are a whole bunch of good F-225's on the market that had the corrosion service done. You could probably grab a replacement and swap out the bad one for 6-7K. It would a couple hours. Then sell the bad one for parts... They are easy to swap with a fork truck. Even if you have...

    Wiper Blades

I bought the whole new arm for a Gulfstream at WM a couple years ago for about 80.00. It was an absolute piece of crap and never worked as well as the original on the other side. I'm looking for a refill for my 98 Marlin. This one is bolted on. Not a "pop-off"
