    Help Improve GreatGrady!

Jeff, Its a great little site. Much like THT was 10 years ago. Some of the uploaded images are sized too large, other than that I think you have it set up very well. Phil

    Anchor Roller

My 96 232 did not have one. What an absolute pain in the ass.... I ordered one, I think from Amazon and adapted it with a drill and ss screw/nut. Much better.

    Need advice Yamaha corrosion issue

Your mechanic is an inept bonehead. 2002 F225's.... why didn't he drop the lower units and take a look in the beginning. Perhaps he wanted to waste a bunch of billable hours first. I'd take him to small claims court for the 2K. Otherwise, those engines are just getting broken in. I'd...

    GPS 7610 fish finder/radar

How about to the underside of your electronics box with a bracket. The PO of mine filled in the dash box with king starboard and flush mounted. Not bad, but I would have liked to have had the box....

    2003 HPDI 250s

Good Luck. It should be a very strait-forward changeover. You should keep your eyes out for an OX replacement and keep a spare pair of motors in the basement..LOL..

    Props for Marlin 28

I would suspect the big Zuke props would be a good fit for that. Either the 16X17 or the 16 x 18.5. That's assuming you have concerns with the performance as-is. The zukes are very high torque motors. That sounds like a great set up.

    2003 Seafarer

How many hours on motor and what is overall condition? I have a buddy looking for something like that, although you may be slightly out of his intended price range.

    2003 HPDI 250s

Yea, easy to over rev, come out of a big swell and props pop out. Overheat ? Could be on the flusher or sucked up obstructions. HPDI wasn't one of Yamaha's success stories for sure ( like the OX66) but a few still out there. like another poster mentioned the price would need to be attractive.

    2003 HPDI 250s

It sound like a "best case scenario" for used 2 strokes if that is what you're looking for. Check NADA values.

2000 Grady 209 Escape Repower or New Powerhead

That's not so terrible. The motor is worth about 4K in good running shape. I suspect you can get close to 2K out of the parts, lower unit, tilt-trim, HP fuel pump etc.

    Broken Windshield

I broke one on a Parker. They were able to supply with the exact match.

    2003 HPDI 250s

The OX 66's were bullet proof motors....but what are they now? 14 years old? Even the best ( and they were) motors will eventually die. I'd be more inclined to rebuild/replace power heads on the OX66's than try another set of used HPDI's. If I were in your shoes, I'd look for a pair of...

    winterizing 2 stroke yamaha

I ran one of those motors for years, new to 1500 hours. Just fog the cylinders, no need to fog the air intake. Run stabilized fuel through it while you are flushing Drain the VST Also, if you want- clean the O2 sensor (or in the spring) Fuel filters LU oil, Grease fittings Prop shaft- check...

    Used Grady Parts

I fixed a couple of those hatches last spring. Not a bad project. I let them sit all winter next to a wood stove to be sure they were dry prior to the repairs. They are not an exact match to original but look pretty good.

    Water in fwd Bilge

Your boat probably sits a little bow-down at the dock, many do. I sometimes turn my rear bilge on while slowly coming up on plane and pump as much from the boat as possible. Store it over the winter (if applicable) with the bow up and drain plug removed.
