Agree, you can bring them up and glass over existing and new. I used Total Boat products when I recored/glassed the backside of a hatch cover. Cheaper than West System.

Looks like some transom damage from the pics albeit tough to tell. Get a glass guy to look at it. Core could be wet, could be delaminated could be a minor or major repair.

I'd go with the swivel bases and a plate with sufficiently long screws to address the unevenness of the backside. Once you lock it down, it isn't going anywhere.

Good call on that. Could be installed, just make sure the location makes sense and you can get what you put in it when you need it.

I get it. Keep looking and get a short list of candidates. I've touched up the paint on mine a couple of times where I got some small rust spots. With age, all will have their issues. Good luck.

I'm a KISS guy for a boat unless you just have the jing to throw around. For the aft refrigerator in the fish box, I'd skip it. Just another mechanical system that is going to be a PIA every 5 years or so. You'll have to spend years of money for ice to even come close to the cost of that...

I'd get your hole dimensions and match them to the documentation for the fridges you are interested in. GW are standard size openings. All documentation should be on the web. Once you dial in on a potential candidate, do a search of the mfg website or just a manual search.

I'd probably go twin F250s given the 500HP max rating on the hull. I think these are the best 250HP motors out there. Zukes 2nd if you have good local service.

You really shouldn't have people up front when driving anyway. Visibility and safety are #1.

I agree with this. If it sells for $60K there is a reason. Looks like the owner didn't do a great job maintaining or protecting the boat. If a dealer is selling it, shame on him for leaving it on his lot without ensuring it was protected as well. I'd be looking elsewhere.
