That's what I did for my setup. It works out much better than the 3-strand I had before. I can't say it is foolproof, but much better. I also added a remote for the Lewmar so I can mess with it from the bow instead of having to go back and forth from the switch in the dash to the bow/winch.

Now my son has moved away, I got a remote for the Lewmar so I can operate it from the bow, and give it a kick if it sticks at deployment. I also try to not retrieve it all the way tight. It is a 14# Lewmar 'plow-type'. If I were able to do it again, I'd figure out how to add more space...

I have thought about doing the same thing on my Gulfstream. Based on the simpicity of the porta potty, I haven't researched much. Easier to replace if something is not working. That said, a nice vacuflush would be an option to look at.
