Like all boat owners you look bigger after awhile....In my area a Grady White Atlantic 26 is for sale....I was wondering what the beam is? I think they are 8'6" but not sure....that seems to be a narrow boat to have a "flybridge" Any owners or previous owners out there..Its not a commonplace...

based on your sea trial experience billfish my advice is to find another boat...its a shame that someone spent Express 330money and it seems they stopped spending after that...a 2006 shouldnt be in the dire condition your describing...but I guess neglect will do that...alotta boats in the market...

If your going to use it then wash it then rack it I would say NO to the bottom paint. keeping the boat clean and waxed will protect it and sitting overnight in the ater wont hurt it. use the money you would have spent on paint on something else.

The MSRP's on the brand new Grady's are insane I know you get what you pay for but whoa!!

No....only because its brandnew...I repowered a 1996 Adventure with a 200 Optimax. however I think this new motor should work great on older boats because its light.

Maybe check out the thread below about the 228 with the spun prop..there is a post from a guy running a 200 hp motor on his 228 with a four blade prop...seems like he is getting decent performance and is happy.

30 mph at 3800 sounds a little optimistic. Most 226s I see have a 225 on them. A 200 should run fine though. I run a 200 on a 20 Adventure plenty of power but of course a 226 is heavier. I think a 200 is minimum power for a 226 but if the motor has a four blade prop who knows.

I looked at the photos and don't know if I like what appears to be a combined head and galley?? Although the mini cabin to port appears nicer than the 33. I am also wondering why they are calling it a 37. The hull specs look like they are using the 36 foot hull that the 360 Express and the 366...

I agree with Bill N. get the 208 and you can stay a Grady owner.
