My boat is 12 years old- curtains look brand new. Prior owner stored them rolled up so the zippers don't touch the plastic and put them all in a king size pillow case.

As far to the stern as possible would be under the outboard motor cutout- there's two access holes for the bilge and livewell pump. Room for it in there. Or are you talking about way up forward of the main tank where the aux tank would go?

Cool! Did you gel coat the inside? What did you use for the latch? My hatch is the forward one between the seats- the rear one that you have as storage is where the 93 gallon tank is.

Well the Yamaha prop bag showed up today. It's a hardline brand with a yamaha part number sticker slapped on the tag. :doh Easier to just buy a hardline online. Anyway, it fits well and now I can keep the prop under the bench in the cabin.

I checked out a new 225 at the boat show last month. The next day bought my '01 for $28k. 3.99APR for 240 months (APR was LOWER on a 10 year loan??)- so $274/mo. I do plan to pay it off much faster than that though.

Thanks for the heads up. I checked the owner's manual for the V700 and it says 12" of fall required. Is that to the top of that stack of the 200-300' anchor line when it's piled up? Also checked their pro series horizontal and it needs 12" too.

I have pics from the grady factory showing the anchor doors, windlass and bow roller on the new boats. Prior owner gave them to me. I can scan and post when I get home.

The prior owner of my boat worked with the Grady factory and figured out that the anchor locker lids from a 283 with windlass will hold a V700 and work on the 226. Also the SS bow roller from a 275 will bolt on and clear the trailer when loading it up. My local Grady dealer (TMC PARTS) on the...
