I have that same blue winter cover on my 228. Treated it with 303 fabric protector and it's bulletproof. I don't know if those blue covers are still available. A friend tried to get one and could not.

Came out great. Looks very clean. Are you in Stamford?

I had those eBay decals before and they are very good. But when my boat was waxed the wax also contained compound and the blue came off to reveal the gold under it. I'm not sure if the current ones would have the same issue or just don't wax the decals.

definitely try Seel's Outboard (843) 556-2742 for Grady white decals. I got this tip from another member and they are excellent. Not cheap. But excellent.
